Grand Love Story!!!

Grand Love Story Kit debuts TODAY at LDD! It is a collaboration I did with the wonderfully talented Shirley of Wildblueberry Ink. Grand Love Story is a kit that offers a wonderful opportunity to capture the impact that grandparents have on our lives and on the lives of our children.  Included in the kit is a quick page and a hybrid card to send to the grandparents in your life! When you purchase GLS, you will also receive 2 kits free - one with 45 handwritten words & a kit of 45 twill ribbons with the words that say Grandma and Grandpa in more than 5 languages. It is 20% off the first week. Go scrap memories of the special grandparents in your life today!!
You have a chance to win a Grand Love Story!  I would love to hear "pearls of wisdom" shared by someone older in your life.  It could be something serious or funny.  Here's a somewhat funny example, during my summer breaks in college, I would work at IBM.  I used to stay out too late and have a difficult time getting up in the morning for my internship.  My dad used to say to me, "If you want to soar with the eagles, you gotta rise with the chickens!"  Leave a comment with something that an older person shared with you.  If you Tweet or Facebook about the contest, you will be entered each time into the random drawing.  Random winner will be drawn at 8:00pm EST on Sunday Aug. 22nd. I'll leave you with some gorgeous layouts from my Creative Team.  Thank you, girls!!!

Gorgeous kit !

I have actually two wisdoms passed onto me that I refer to quite often.
My grandmother used to say : 'What the head forgets, the legs have to make up for."
And when I didn't want to do my little jobs around the house, my mum always said : "You don't have to like doing it, you just have to do it fast."
I do have to admit, they sound better before translation. :)
